Hello Lina, this railway line is very popular with people who like steam trains. It's near to Whitby so it takes us about One and a half hours by car to reach Goathland. Rgds/ Anita

Hi Ian, I love to see, hear and smell these old locomotives, we visited the National Railway Museum in York and had a wonderful time. My grandson had the pleasure of going onto the Mallard footplate and sitting on the drivers seat, I wish you could have seen his face, oh! what joy:) Regards, Anita
