What a wonderful photo, kamaly! The little one under mama's tail feathers is the perfect touch. Beautiful! Greetings from Washington State. -alicia

I wish I could get these shots. Our Swans only stay for a couple of week's during migration. They do stop on the way up and back though. Fantastic picture. Zoe.

thanks, zoe! I hounded them again this evening. They're still so cute and so interesting to watch (and happily, there are still 5!) They're Mute Swans that live here year-round, and they know people come bearing gifts of food (no matter what the 'Do Not Feed the Waterfowl' signs say) so they're pretty tame and let people get to within 8-10 feet of them (dogs are another story, though!)

So they're nice to photograph all year! I got this one on a quick stop by the pond last winter.

My buddy says you've got some great pics. Hope you don't mind we sketched this one sans Buttinsky to use as a model for a sign he's making.

LOL, Guy - well thanks to your and your buddy! But how could you omit Buttinsky? He makes the shot!
