I've always wanted to go but every time I am on that part of I-40 I am in a hurry. Good shot. What time of year did you take it?

Hey Dusty It was early April and that day was really stormy and rainy. It truly is an incredible sight, I hope you see it one day!

Thank you! Well back in 2004, you weren't allowed to visit the inside of the crater. Just walk around the rim near the visitors centre. There is also a tour that takes you to different parts of the rim, but I don't know if that takes you down into the crater, we didn't go on that. I thought it was great just looking at it from the rim! Mitch

Visited the Crater last year when on holidays, I was amazed by its sheer size, and had a great time at the visitors centre too. Nice shot :)
