The Snailbeach Railway took lead ore from mines in the hills to the GWR branch line at Minsterley. It was last used in 1947 and the locos and most of the track is long gone. All thats left is these remains near the engine shed. For more abandoned and restored lines check out http://www.panoramio.com/user/29844/tags/narrow%20guage%20railway and this must be the shortest piece of abandoned track I have seen. http://www.panoramio.com/photo/3371708
