На сколько мест был расчитан театр? Визуально я бы полторы тысячи дал...

Great Shot many thanks for sharing like.

Источники указывают, что на 5000 мест. Там верхние ряды совсем в плохом состоянии, поэтому театр кажется маленьким.

Great photo's, all of them! I was at Priene in spring 1988. However...

It would be very helpful if everybody posted their pictures with English titles. Google translate is a bitch. My Cyrillic is fairly hopeless (as is my Russian); Greek: I can decypher the letters and then a few words (that occur in W.E. languages), and my Turkish is limited to ordering tea, a glass of raki or a beer. :-)

PS: I guess the title of this picture translates as "Antique Theatre at Priene":-)

Any photo's of the small temple/shrine of Bastet, a Egyptian goddess erected especially for Egyptian traders. There were more, for all sorts of faiths. ??????

Hi, Jacqueline!

Thanks for your attention to my gallery! It's really a photo of ancient theatre in Priene! I was there in 2014 and for me it's really nice ancient city in Turkey! (I like visiting ancient cities in Turkey:) ).

Some objects in Priene I didn't visit because I didn't have much time. That day I also visited ancient Miletus and Didyma.

Kind regards from Ukraine! kiaksar
