Auch dir vielen Dank, Jörg, für deinen lustigen Kommentar. Er sieht wirklich wie poliert aus. Biologen streiten darüber, ob dieser Marienkäfer eine Gefahr für unsere heimischen Marienkäfer ist.

Marilyn, you are right, this kind of lady bug is proliferating and taking the place of the native kind. They are larger than the native kind and even eat their larvae! Today I saw a whole lot of Asian lady bugs at different stages of development scattered on a wall. I hadn't seen them here before. But anyway, they do look pretty! Greetings to all, Anne
