Autumn in Australia !!!! Spring here !!!! I love this very simple picture, red, black, white. Nice contrast, cheers Sis Annick
Romantic title, dear Yan, and a beautiful image! Best greetings, Eva
Beautiful!!! I like it a lot! The more we simplify things, the more beautiful they become. Greetings, Liviu
Dear Annick, Eva and Liviu,
I appreciate your comment and visit to the album, but how much more would I love to be able to sit beneath this vine on a warm sunny autumn afternoon and toast your arrival and celebrate your company.
It is great to exchange our seasons, dear Sister Annick, and to be able to celebrate the different seasons of our lives. YOu do realise that you were only one flight away from us when you were in Vietnam....then there's next time!
Romantic titles go with beautiful images, dear Eva, and I am sure that as you spend summer afternoons in the garden with your friends, a champagne may be shared over erudite conversations and your thoughts will fly to far away places and far away friends.
For in the simple things of life there are very real joys and much beauty. Friendships are like art, for they have the potential for very special creativity and in the simplicity of giving and receiving they become more beautiful.. Thank you for your giving and receiving, Liviu.
At the moment we are preparing to leave for Tonga for a few days of holiday and 2 weeks of work. I will be visiting the Theological College there, and also attending the conference of the Methodist Church of Tonga, which is a huge event, with many choirs, much much food, wonderful hospitality, much conversation and oratory, for the Tongans are good at all of these things. And I get to eat some of my favourite Pacific food....ofi, puaka, feke, etc. There will be no champagne though, only kava.
I assure you that the next photo-sharing when I return in July will be very Tongan. I look forward to taking you to Tonga, on our magic Panoramio carpet.
With love and best wishes to you and your families,
You might walk down the road a wee bit and see this every autumn, Robyn. I was surprised to discover the vineyards around St George. I am glad you find this pic stunning.. it seemed an inviting image to me. I could imagine sitting beneath such a bower on a warm autumn afternoon with family and with drinks and sweets from your kitchen.
