This photo was not taken from a helicopter. It is taken from the end of a fabulous hunting trail that ends at this spectacular vista. The trail begins next to the cabins on Waimea Canyon rd. in Kokee state park, near the Kokee diner. A round trip hike to the end of this trail and back is 6-7 hours.
