That was exactly my plan! I made it to the top of the mountain where the ants were swarming (they think nothing of flying into your eyes and ears), got sunburnt and ran out of water coming back down. Quite a day. No rattlesnakes at least.

as a small girl i lived across the river so the quickest way home was across the bridge. crossing it and looking down thru a missing slat was really scary and seeing the picture takes me back and i still get chills. that is a great picture.
