My grampa grew up in St. John's - He told me great stories of him and his brother getting sprayed by a skunk down by the river back around 1913 before the war (that would be the Great War). His brother, Robert Morison, was killed in that war and buried in Flanders Fields. Funny how when you see a place and a name, what you remember.
