Angelmaximo and hawepoti, thank you both for visiting and your wonderful compliments! hawepoti, I only meant that after watching and photographing this tremendous bird for the longest time, he suddenly was 'gone', seemingly just like that. Nobody is going anywhere that I know of ;). Best regards to you both from Washington state, alicia
Great shot aisavery, need a lot of patient to take these kind of shot, well done!
A belated thank you, Majlend Bramo. The word patient is it in a nutshell. And the reward is so worth it. Greetings from Seattle. alicia
Unbelievable!! I can see the yellow and black of his eye, can't I?, Or am I imagining it?? I shall have to have another look...no, I certainly can! What a fantastic photo, really, I would be blown away to get such a fine image of the fellow on top, but to get these two birds in the one shot, and the clarity and detail, and character!!! The way the eagle appears to be cruising along, quite unaware of the 'upstart' above him, is just priceless. Thank you so much, for having the skill to take this very fine photo, and also to share it with people like me, who wouldn't ever have a hope of creating such a masterpiece. WoW!
As you might have guessed, you have a Y* and a best of vote, as I've tried my hardest to get shots of birds, and although I admit my camera isn't up to it, I lack even the patience to 'pretend' that I've ever got a decent photo, let alone achieve something of this calibre. Wow again.
I'd better go, before I fall clean off my chair as I can't stop looking at this!
Very best wishes,
Brilliant shot. Well done. Right place, right time, right skill
Hope one day to be as good and lucky.
Thank you, Paul for visiting my gallery and finding my lucky shot. Your very kind words are much appreciated, and I won't tell you how many shots I took to get this one ;). I am just glad to be able to see these beautiful and free creatures, and I hope that you can too someday. Greetings from Washington state, alicia
And Sue Allen, thank you for stopping by my gallery. I see your name often in Mary Alice's gallery, and am pleased to be able to greet you. I hope to visit your gallery soon. As I mentioned to Paul above, I won't say how many photos it took to be able to select just one ;), but I do appreciate your wonderful critique and of course, the Y* and vote! This eagle does appear to be unaware of the pesky crow, but he was indeed following him out of the corner of his eye - the crows are such harrassers of the eagles. Best regards to you, alicia
