How cute!!

:D There were 9 pups all told Jessica but Mama spotted us and told them to skedaddle down the hole (3 didn't listen to her). :^)))

We don't have too many foxes around here, but last year we came across a den right beside the road with 4 pups all lined up beside it. I'm still disgusted I didn't have a camera with me! ;)

I know the feeling Jessica it was about 2 years ago I saw a couple of pups (very red that year) playing outside of a farm's shelter belt within feet of the road (and like you I didn't have the camera).

I was surprised about that too Billy...the first time we stopped they all disappeared. The second time, after driving away and turning around, they stayed out until we opened the windows and our scent reached them. The third time we came back we stayed down wind and just cleared some shelterbelt trees that were by the road (Mama knew we were back, told them to hide, but three obviously didn't think there was a danger and disobeyed her).

Anne they were a bit of distance from the road so I used zoom (as much as I dared since we didn't have a tripod). We also had to position the car downwind from them (or they would disappear down the den's hole). There were 9 cubs in total but three were brave/silly enough to stay above ground.
