It seems strange that in Canada you should be having the same problems as we do in Australia...lack of rain. We do have downpours in certain area's but it comes so heavy and fast it leads to flash flooding and destruction. Mother Nature can be so beautiful but so awful too. Maybe she trying to tell us something.
Lovely shot by the way, I love the threatening colour of the clouds, so full of promise.

:) I'm pleased you enjoyed seeing it too Palmina.
In North America the Great Plains often goes through dry spells (the dust bowl of the Dirty Thirties is burnt in the memories of the old timers) but lately they've become hotter and now even humid (we used to pride ourselves on a dry heat/cold). The past 2 rains (thank you La Niña) that we had here have been soft and gentle but the majority that we've had past summers have been pounding hard and much more severe (hail and tornadoes are more common now). Alberta, amazingly, has had over 8 inches of rain this year and they, like those down East, have extremely soggy feets.
The Eastern part of Canada has gotten lots of rain the past few years (this year they are considering building an Ark); the West Coast usually does well with rain (however the West/Wet Coast has been getting warmer summers of late). I too am thinking Mother Nature is telling us something.

Magnificent cloudscape!
Oh my...discussing the weather, are we. Endlessly fascinating, and tells us the earth's health as surely as a thermometer tells a fever.
