I love your foxes, you were really lucky to have a camera handy, I always seem to have forgotten my camera or left it in the boot of the car when I find scenes like that.

Just a few weeks ago while stopped at traffic lights there was a young fox chasing leaves in the wind no more than a few metres from the car, I tried to call him over, he sat and looked right at me for a few seconds, decided Im not important then continued chasing leaves. I would consider trading a limb to have had my camera handy that morning.
