Very nicely done John. I like this composition. Lot's of contrast and detail and the reflection of the bridge and vegetation in the puddle is a neat, unexpected added touch. A perfect scene for IR. Did you use a filter or did you have this camera modified for IR? Nice one.

Thanks again Tom. No, I must hols my hands up and say it was all photoshop! I took this a few years agao with my old Kodak DX6490. It remained filed away on disc because the resultant photograph wasn't really that good. Then yesterday i decided to try and play around with it, and thought the IR efferct worked best.

It's only a two minute walk from my house, so I should really try and get more quality shots of it.

Best regards

John

Well it's an effective method because it had me fooled John. The shutter speed got me suspicious. :) I would love to see more shots of this impressive structure though.

All the best, Tom

Thanks H. I'd be lying if I said your own gallery didn't provide the inspiration for the changes I made to this picture. So your kind words are greatly appreciated.

I'm not familiar with the station at Annaghmore, although I do know the townland. I must make a point of passing by that way some day on the way home from work.

Regards

J.

Hi John,

Honoured! You made a great Job of it, If i one last piece of advice, i'd lose the framed border, doesn't need it. If you really want a border i'd go with a thin black one, See what you think?

I got a good shot of bessbrook viaduct with the translink coming over , when i was up near annaghmore the locals showed me the last bit of rails left on the old portadown - derry line, stuck in a back road since 1965! i'll put up the others in the next few weeks when i get time!

Regards h
