keepclicking, I am not sure what you found funny about the caption as this building is located in the United States but its architecture is definitely a traditional German design of the type used in the early 18th century. To a person living in Germany merely saying Schifferstadt would communicate a German town. However, people in the United States live in towns and cities reflective of the wide diversity of origins of its first inhabitants. Best regards. -Art
