It certainly isn't pretty, but it's reality!
I can't map this; it's "somewhere in Madurai."
I wake up to that picture (becoming Panoramio addicted). Aaaargh! Those ugly wires again.
But no, wait, we're in India! There must be some metaphysical allegory to it. Got it: "The entanglement of mental consciousness has to be replaced by a wireless spiritual enlightment".
Or something like that ;)
You have found the world's great need ... ;)
What a tangled mess! Wonderful photo, Marilyn, and a great perspective on the cluttered scene. Ryan
Actually, Ryan, we saw much worse tangled messes than this! This is just the one that I was able to shot reasonably successfully from the bus (which put me at a good height to see such messes, but which kept moving most of the time). It's a delightful irony that both shops are "electrical." Marilyn
we can see the same in Madrid
Guia arquitectura, very late thanks for the link!
And Omshakti, I loved rereading your comment. I'm sorry I've been so inactive on Panoramio lately, but I've been working hard, writing a biography. Soon it will be off to a publisher, and while they're reading and deciding, I should have more leisure time.
I am glad you enjoy re-reading my comments, and be assured that I also do love going through yours. They are always witty, sensible and profound, plus the pictures you choose to comment on form a nice gallery. I have created a tag entitled Marilyn's Comment
I have also been off Panoramio for sometimes now, learning Mandarin Chinese in Taiwan. Would love to know more about the biography you've been writing. Much love, Om
