Your work, all of it, is a pure delight; Great color, shadow and form combined with a great eye for composition.

I don't know much about this plant but in Algeria the guide was naming it "Judah's Apple " . Apparently it's milky limph is very toxic for the eyes.

Ciao, Marco

I've been spending some time in your gallety and it has been a great pleasure to travel around the world without leaving a single Panoramio user. I had seen pictures of you before (in the shared areas we've visited) but now for the first time I connected the dots (e.g. that they are from you).

Great work, sharp eye, I like it! I'll add you to my favourite photografers!

What I like to do is to visit someone's first picture, to see how it all started... This plant here is a Calotropis procera, quite common in dry areas in Africa (I've seen it in Morocco, but also in Ethiopia). It's latex can be poisonous and could make you blind, so be carefull not touching it too much cause it would be a big spill loosing your sight. Just joking!

Best regards from Holland!

Dear Peter, thanks a lot ! I am glad you liked my gallery and I can tell you I liked yours ( favourite ). Let's hope we will both never touch the Calotropis procera as we need to keep having our eyes in very good conditions ...

ciao, Marco
