I'm afraid that is by no means a pumpkin. Notice the irregular stripes heading from the flower bud (the bottom part it sits on when upright) to the top of the stem, these are of no pumpkin but of Watermelons. Also, notice there are no grooves at all, whether this be a shriveled pumpkin or a new one. Finally, Notice that the stem of the squash is not thick when dried (and it is dried), but quite thin, exactly like a watermelon. Watermelon :)
