Clements Odd Fellows Lodge #355 was instituted on Dec. 4, 1889 at Clements (San Joaquin County) California.The two-story red brick building was located on the corner of Highway 88 and Mackville Road. After the lodge consolidated with Progressive Odd Fellows Lodge No. 134 of Lockeford, the building became the property of Snowflake Rebekah Lodge #276, until the lodge gave up their charter. The Grand Lodge became owner of the building and in the 1990's the building was purchased by Frank Giannecchini of Linden, a member of Scio Odd Fellows Lodge #102 in Linden. The building was later sold to Chocoholics Divine Desserts and it became the retail store for the growing company.
The facility is composed of two separate buildings. The first is about 20,000 square feet and contains all manufacturing and warehousing. There is a second floor mezzanine of offices and meeting areas. Sentence in bold The second building is a former Independent Order of Odd Fellows (IOOF) Lodge #355 built in 1917. This California place of historic interest is a 3,600 square foot building serving as the new Chocoholics Divine Desserts Retail Shop.
