caracosa. Gracias Ismael por tus palabras. Esta flor no contiene droga. Es su hermana de color blanco la que la tiene. Esta sólo es una flor sin más pretensiones y aquí se usa para dársela de comer a algunos animales de granja. Saludos, Juan.

Esta flor es de la misma familia que la que se usa para la heroína pero esta es de otro color y sólo sirve para dar de comer a algunos animales de granja. Para que me entiendas mejor no es lo mismo el agua de mar que el agua de un río, aunque las dos sean aguas. La amapola blanca conocida como Papaver somniferum o adormidera es la que posee la droga, la otra amapola Papaver rhoeas o amapola silvestre es inofensiva. Las hojas son levemente venenosas para los animales herbívoros, aunque desde la época de la guerra la planta se usaba para forraje de algunos animales. Sin embargo, las semillas son inofensivas y a menudo se utilizan como condimento y en bollería, las partes verdes frescas se consumen como verdura y los pétalos se usan para elaborar siropes y bebidas no alcohólicas. La savia, pétalos y cápsulas contienen rhoeadina, un alcaloide de efectos ligeramente sedantes, a diferencia de la variedad Papaver somniferum. Espero haber dejado claro que no es lo mismo y que estoy en contra de las drogas y de quienes mezquinamente se lucran a costa del daño a su prójimo. Saludos, Juan.
