No doubt the area is full of glaciar examples, BUT....in this case one has to take a close look to the "grains" at the lower part of this rock and you can see they are rounded: no glacial transport (should be angular) so it has to be the work of fluvial transport. Evidence of times when the area had a much warmer climate.
