Not a cabin... a house that was in good shape (for over 100 years old) just 20 years ago or until the National Guard started destroying it.

I didn't see any physical damage to it other than what mother nature did to it, I assure you. Did you have family that resided there?

Yes. Grandfather/Grandmother, father, 2 aunts, and one uncle. The damage was caused by the NG digging a command post into the root cellar below about 20 years ago and a)damaging support columns and b)allowing water in to cause erosion. There are also a few small arms bullet holes on the north side of the house. The area is now owned by the Wyoming Army National Guard and is used for various training exercises including shooting "the big guns" mainly for most of the nation's National Guard troops.

Trust Mom to correct me on the history of the homestead :). Please see the comments on the other picture of the house you posted. Thank you for taking these pictures.
We certainly appreciate your sentiments. Since the pictures (from the Photo details of the full structure picture) were taken in Feb, 2008 and you didn't post a picture of the north side of the house I can't tell if more damage has ocurred between 2/09 and 7/08 when I was last out there.
