The historic Mawson's Hut in Antarctica. Left behind by the 1911-14 Australiasian Antarctic Expedition led by ir Douglas Mawson, it is one of the first dozen buildings on the continent and one of four still standing.
It was an early Canon pro digital SLR, in 1997. Lovely camera, now long obsolete. I didn't retouch the photo at all. Antarctica is like that: it makes you look like a much better photographer than you are!
