Fishing on Maroochy Beach

This was taken by my son. He was more interested in the waves but managed to get an interesting angle. Belittles Mt Coolum in the middle background. This is near the opening to the Maroochy River. The river mouth changes dramatically and had to be sandbagged to stop sand erosion.

Thank you very much Sue Allen. We are encouraged and hope to add some more soon. I'm hoping to compile a photo on photoshop and post it soon. You're right too, it's not hard to take photos in this part of the world.

Hello again, I just popped back to say that your son inspired me to let the kids have a go with my camera and here isone of the results. The next youngest is a bit cross as hers keep coming out blurry, but it just takes time to get used to standing still long enough, doesn't it?

Talk about perfect every day - the weather lately has been just idyllic, hasn't it? Lucky old us!
