As always Samo, a visit from you is a pleasure.
Mira, you're pretty cool too.
What a nice surprise to see you here Bea.
To observe the harsh intensity of Arctic light in the early hours of day is quite an unforgettable experiance. This mixture of sun, sky, cloud and sea creates a wonderful effect. I'm glad you enjoyed the photo.
Warm wishes.

Hello Billy. Yes--Awsome just about sums it up.
The stiff breeze featured every day, fortunately, it subsided to a gentle calm before midnight and remained thus during the early hours.
Looking back on the 8 day event, I can say that it was a somewhat extreme, but not unpleasant experience.
A once in a lifetime trip never to be forgotten.
I so much appreciate your visit Billy.

Amazing shot showing the details of the reflection on the water, AXOTA.
AXOTA, on June 26, said:
Greeting TS Jeung and a warm welcome.
There is something very special about the light in Norway at this time of the year.
There is an intensity of harsh light that I am unfamiliar with.
I do my best with the camera, but in reality it was much prettier than this.
Thankyou for stopping a while TS
Kind regards.

Dear Paty, Thankyou so muuch for your precious comments on this and other photos in my gallery. It is my pleasure that you came and stayed a while.
It makes my day to know that you dropped in Paula. I am overwhelmed by your appreciation.
The region is so climatic lavieorange and conditions changed rapidly. This calm scenario wss in stark contrast to the situation which developed only a few hours later. We had to make a dash for shelter.
Thanks for your visit guys.

Thankyou Kostas. The photo was taken at 23 33hrs. The light increased its intensity soon after.
Natalia I think this place was colder, even than Russia.
Since I got to know you a little, I think that Russia is much warmer !!!
You are fortunate that much distance seperates us, I could become your pest (no , I meant pet) joke!
Smile Natalia. (-j^)

Not at all Jim, there has been so much 'traffic' lately, it's almost impossible to catch every message.
Glad you are getting back to normal and like you wondering when all this rain will end!!
Have a great week,
Séan.
AXOTA, on July 12, said:
Yeah Sean, it sure is busy.
The whole of Northern Europe seems to be having the same freakish weather. Perhaps more of us are staying in and posting mail.
Its been 3 weeks almost since returning from Norway and the sea conditions here have been atrocious.
I dont hear the farmers complaining, everything must be growing well.
Best wishes.

I absolutely love this photo, Jim! It has the'WOW' factor for me. You know when you flick the button and the screen loads up and there is a magical scene....rippled water, rippled sky, with supple beauty slipping by........ dappled cool beneath the skin of liquid, still and cool within.....
Well, that's what pops into my head when I look at this beautiful scene. Thanks so much for posting it, Jim, Kind regards, Sue

Hello Sue, greetings and welcome.
You have a nice way with words and I am grateful for your visit and interesting feedback.
It is so much easier to respond when visitors leave interesting, amusing and thoughtful reflection on what they feel here when visiting my gallery, just as you have done. I can see that you draw your inspiration from having a good imagination. I too like to picture a scene and create an image of how it must feel and sound. To imagine the crash of surf on the shore, the rush of shingle in a receeding wave, the harsh call of the soaring gulls and the salty taste of the sea-breeze on my lips. --It is these emotions from which I draw my inspiration. So it would seem Sue, from your own observations above, that we share a love for the same things. I am grateful for this opportunity to share these thoughts and feelings with you. It creates a better understanding and a need to discover even more about new friends. You took the time to stay a while on your journey, I appreciate that. Thankyou....Jim
