This Arc was built at 1815-1817 as Triumph Arc to mark victory over Napoleon at 1812. First time Arc was placed on the Riga border (today VEF region), at 1915 it was mooved to new city borderline (near Smerla Str.). At 1936 Arc was mooved last time to place it stand today.
