Greetings Isabel, This was the safe harbour that was our destination at the end of each fishing trip. We stayed in the chalets for a week, spending much of the time at sea. This cove was very sheltered and a welcome sight in those harsh surroundings of the fjords ;>)

Thanks for your nice comment

Thank you happyworld..this was taken on my first and only visit to northern Norway..I remember this place with much fondness..wild and unspoilt far away from the madding crowd..I would like to return someday ;>)

Very nice, Jim. Did you manage to get any images from Whitby yesterday?

Helaq on March 3, 2014

I like your composition and beautiful reflection :)

Jim Evans (AXOTA) on March 3, 2014

~oOo~~~~Humble apologies for missing your lovely comment ;) e

Helaq~~~~~Thanks a lot ;) The photo was taken as our fishing party of four departed from the fishing camp in a small fishing boat to catch cod, torsk, haddock, halibut and wolf-fish in the deep clear waters surrounding the Island of Skjervoy, northern Norway! You can see from the photo details that I took the photo near midnight, this was the best time to go because the sea was calm at night and too rough during the day..Yes, we were successful in catching, and returning big fish!

Many thanks for your appreciative remarks!
