Hallo, Uli, freut mich, dass es Dir gefällt. Noch mehr freut mich der Verweis auf Caspar David Friedrich, denn der ist mein absoluter Lieblingsmaler: vielleicht hat das tatsächlich etwas auf mich abgefärbt, was die Wahl der Motive anlangt?

Danke, Uli, was für ein tolles Kompliment. Eines ist aber klar: an die künstlerische Leistung von Caspar David Friedrich kommt man mit der Kamera wohl gar nicht heran. Aber die Motivwahl beeinflusst es eben. Und wenn ich irgendwann mal so etwas finden sollte wie die "Klosterruine im Winter" (ein Bild, das leider im Krieg zerstört wurde) wäre das ein absoluter Traum...

this is a very kind advice and I really appreciate your effort to translate it to German. But unfortunately it´s a little late for this... As I love sunrise and sunset pictures this time I already had decided to compete in this contest- but -sorry- with an other picture... Since it´s impossible to send more than one picture to the contest I can´t follow your advice- though I indeed really had thought about selecting this one. My picture is # 87, I hope you´ll like it, too.
