But it really WAS like that mimipet - elctric blue lighting as the storm passed overhead and the sun contemplated setting.
You live in a beautiful country too - I am just reading about your history. Greetings and friendship from North Carolina.

Yes Jet, surely the sky was on this way. I just meant that the photo is a little worked but it is nice also in this way. I liked it and so why I put in My Favorites!
Greetings from Italy ;-)

It looks like a Thomas Kinkade painting, with a bit of Norman Rockwell tossed in to round it out. Nice photo, jethro.

I appreciate your appreciation as I am particularly fond of this. It was a great evening after a wonderful storm, like the Carolinas enjoy from time to time. The panorama turned out to be a tad incomplete up in the sky there, when I got it home.
But what the camera missed, "Image Composer" helped create.
Thank you for your visit and felicitations from North Carolina.

Thank you Joy this is a four shot HDR (so 12 camera shots at that stage of my learning). A few hours of work in the dark room (I must get this bulb replaced) and voila.
I took a whole set of Raleigh churches and downtown features after a storm one summer afternoon. The lighting was great. It was one of my fondest photo excursions, and in one of my own back yards.
Many thanks for your kindness.
