The actual name is Cholla Power Plant and it is in Joseph City rather than Holbrook. The owner is Arizona Public Service Co.

Nice Ariel view of Cholla Power plant in NE AZ. Funny thing about this power plant, it is in NE AZ 5 miles west of Holbrook AZ and 1 Mile SE of Joseph city AZ and not (1) one WATT of the power produced in it is used in the state of ARIZONA! Every stinking watt goes to southern California or to Oregon! When the power lines fail in the winter you set in the cold and freeze but you can't get any power out of this plant! even though it is less than 10 miles from where I live. Talk about having priorities screwed up!

I hear ya hammerhead. It's probably because those states pay more for the power. At least be grateful that Colorado keeps the water flowing to your state. Maybe in the future solar will be more viable.
