William! How could you call this 'Another sunset', like it's the most nonchalant thing in the world? It's fan-flipping-tastic and so blood_red,- _scarlet in fact. I am impressed, can you tell I'm impressed, William? There must have been some very happy Greek shepherds around that night, (remember the saying 'red sky at night, shepherd's delight'etc?)
Anyway, enough waffle, you are becoming a Panoramio legend fast, William!
Kind regards, Sue

Sue, I'd love to be a legend but I'll have to catch up with Snemann who has about a million hits on that fantastic tree shot of his! Not that I want to send you off too far from my collection!

William, I have long been browsing through Snemann's collection, which is pretty darned fantastic, ( I love his field of wheat shots), but I always return to your photos, and it's not just the ones of where I was brought up. Your photos have a real attraction, whether it's the composition, or the light, I don't have a clue, but they are gooooood, if you see what I mean?
I found a rather lovely photo of a tree that Aubrey Skelly has taken here, too. It is simpler than Snemann's and just 'right'. Hope you like it too.
Kind regards, Sue

Hi Steve - thanks for your comments. I'm glad you liked my photos. I seem to remember that this sunset was accompanied by a particularly nice cold beer or two! Cheers, William
