Thanks for the comments It is as you suggest a derelict Scout Hut. For many years it was home to the Misbourne Venture Sea Scout Unit and now the Misbourne Explorer Unit. Sadly when their lease ran out a number of years ago, they were made homeless. The unit is still very active, but has to use village halls, church halls or any other building to meet in.If you know of any empty building near Great Missenden they could use, they would be most grateful. The hut holds many good memories for former members, including me, so that is why I called it the legendary Misbourne vssu/esu base. Kootenay
