You have some great photos! I'd never heard of Biddulph before (except a name from BBC Radio 4, probably an announcer from the 60's). Is it privately owned or open to the public? Ian

Hi Ian

Biddulph is open to the public, and owned by the National Trust. Its interesting because they restored it to its pre-WWII designs. There are themed sections cunningly linked together.

Other garden open to the public that I would recommend include:

Ness on the Wirral - photos are tagged Ness

Bodnant in N. Wales, also National Trust. Tagged Bodnant

Arley Hall near Manchester, awaiting upload.

Thanks for looking and your comment

Cheers Steve

An enjoyable - but not necessarily a great - garden is at Mount Stuart on Isle of Bute. But next time you're in Scotland, Steve, I strongly urge you to put Mount Stuart on your itinerary. For my money it's the 8th Wonder of the World. The Marquis is a bit sniffy about photos though! Ian
