Life is tough under an incessent wind! FRED

Steve Paxton on November 2, 2010

Diego & Fred this is apart of about 30 trees that have a very tough life the sea breeze is what formed the trees like this the shot is in mid summer as you can see by the ground not to kind out there at all. thanks steve

Herb Riddle on November 10, 2010

I see a similar shaped tree to my own Steve only a little more perpendicular. This tree looks in remarkably good health though and like mine must just have taken advantage of this new position. Good luck in the NPC. Cheers, Herb

Steve Paxton on November 11, 2010

Herb this is quite an area but NPC well we shall see just how this one goes. the trees are in good health as there roots go deep to the water but the wind is cutting across the plain hence look. steve

Herb Riddle on November 21, 2010

Well done Steve for getting a very respectable 21st place out of 200 (my own calculations put you in 15th), in this NPC. It looks like trees were in favour. See you in the next NPC, Herb
