The original of the Cathedral is not located in Amsterdam, but in 's-Hertogenbosch, aka Den Bosch, the origin of the famous painter Hieronimus Bosch (El Bosco). In the Prado Museum Madrid hangs one of his most famous paintings, The Garden of Delight (El jardin de las delicias), bought by Felipe II. Although a very pious man, Felipe did not hesitate to send his butcher Alva to the Netherlands to counter the Dutch revolution.
