really nice picture. Each tree has its very own personality
Thank u Lunaria.
This was taken a few years ago. I found it fascinating & wondered how it came to be hollow. Sadly I failed to see it this year when I walked along the Clyde Walkway. I'm wondering if it's still standing. Might go on a hunt for it in the New Year.
Thanks, nice photo and nice tree.
Walked here recently. Sadly this interesting tree is no longer standing.
It walks! Oh, you did add the Old Trees tag. Good for you. I invite you join me in the 'cavity tree' tag. They are the trees that serve small creatures of the world... like my raccoons.
Thanks for helping me figure out that the bee that I didn't know is a fly! A hover fly. I'm so thrilled to discover this! Big hug for your help!
Have a good evening! The sun is still up here and I'm about to go out and enjoy the end of the day where the rain clouds have parted.
Oh, I forgot to say how wonderful to get to see this old tree in your wonderful photo! Thank you so much for sharing!!!

Great shot of an old tree a subject of visual interest to me.
Just looking around and came across this beauty from the past.
Happy New Year to you and your family.
Best Wishes to All. Roy and Peggy.
Not a good start to our New Year. My my mum fell & fractured her hip ~~ so spent it visiting her in hospital.
At her age (& already poor health) will be a slow healing.
