It's a nice spot, especially when the weather's good. You can't tell from this height but the beach is pebbles rather than sand. The last time I was there about 5 years ago, my daughters were swimming with a Dolphin that used to visit the area.

If you visit the area François then there's a variety of interesting places from Swanage in the east to Lyme Regis in the west. Here's just a few images - you can see they're not all white cliffs: Dancing Ledge on the Isle of Purbeck - not an island at all
