I like this photo, it shows the ordinary men and women, their everyday life in Tonga. And this awesome blue of the ocean...
Cheers

As an interested viewer, Rafal, you have highlighted that which is important.
There are not many vehicles on 'Eua, and many of them reveal the local poverty. Yet the people are competent, generous and very sociable. A large part of their economy is generated by their family members who have migrated away from 'Eua, first to the capital, Nuku'alofa and to New Zealand, Australia, Hawaii, USA and Canada.
This church was opened in 2007, and the other one in the distance is also recently rebuilt...both by money remitted from overseas and from sacrificial giving.
And as for the ocean, it is awesome....
Thanks for the interest you show in people and in the photos I have shared.
Warm greetings,
Ian

And the truck is a Bedford!
Did General Motors make Bedfords in Oz, Ian, or was this imported from the UK?

Just like my old school bus when I was a child! It rolled into the creek once but just got up and kept on going, carting kids on board seats and milk cans.
I presume that GM never got around to producing anything other than Holdens in OZ in those days, and that the Bedford was imported along with Chevs, Fords & IH trucks.
