Its a fine photo Herb.
Sea-scapes like this leave everything to the imagination.
This is basic and elementary, raw and unspoiled.
I like it, a lot.

Well it finally happened! As I feared,by re-scanning and mapping older photo's. A keen spotting Google Earther, PeteDA realised that my mapping of this was slightly out and kindly offered a new position a mile or so north. "A view of Trevaunance Cove taken just of the Quay area". I have now accepted his re-location and offer both my apologies for mis-mapping it and thanks for his obvious local knowledge and time to correct me. Cheers Peter. ps - hope you liked the picture. Greetings Herb, I guess we can all mke mistakes at times and coastal scenes are notoriously difficult to pinpoint. On the subject of contested viewpoints, I have an anonymous person insisting that one of my Abbey photos is misplaced, and twice I have had to respond to his/her insistence. Twice I have explained that the photo was taken from my bedroom window. Not much to go wrong there Herb. Can,t please everyone.
Cheers for now---Jim_

Thank Jim. Yes unless you map the photo really quickly after taking the picture then mistakes are bound to crop up. I take so many pictures that I have a job pinpointing them the moment I get back from my trip. I don't mind at all if someone puts me right -it's better that way -as long as they are right too. Must be annoying if the person complaining is wrong? Greetings to you at Whitby. Herb
