He even made some for me on location !.
They were stinking (as they were raw skin) a bit, but I took them home and dried them in open air to give off the bad odours.... Now they are fine.
The insole, as he advised, could be hay as it can keep feet warm during winter.
I took this photo the time he was sleeping on a bush !
