The only entrance to the hotel is through 1 Bridge St. The start of a journey up the hotels staircase (unfortunately there is no lift, but don’t let that put you off) and you reach level 1, The Metro Bar.
What a refreshing change to step back in pub time.

"The Rooftop Terrace Bar"
Is the ideal place to feel the vibrancy of Sydney’s CBD, either daytime or under the lights of the evening. The terrace can accommodate up to 80 guests. Also the adjoining the terrace is an enclosed room, which can accommodate up to 30 guests. Smoking is permitted on the terrace.
A smart and compact bar services the terrace. There is no tap beer available on the roof. A good selection of local and imported, bottled beers and a comprehensive selection of spirits, liqueurs, wine, and champagne and the full range of soft drinks and juices are available.
In the event of climactic conditions the terrace has a retractable awning, which covers the outdoor area. On the cooler nights you will stay warm with our infrared heaters, which warm up the entire terrace. A 50” plasma and a T.V. monitor are located on the Rooftop showing Digital Fox Sports and free to air sports.
All music throughout the hotel is available on the rooftop just pump up the Gallery Bar level 2 jukebox, and enjoy the music and video clips.
"Gallery Bar"
Welcome to the Gallery Bar level 2 of the Metropolitan Hotel. This floor has a combination of low timber tables and chairs, and polished timber tall tables.
It has a trendy and relaxed atmosphere with spacious, and comfortable surrounds. A very popular lunch and dinner venue it is the ideal environment for a business lunch or just to unwind with colleagues and friends. Bookings for lunchtime are recommended. A more intimate timber bar services this level with 6 beers on tap and a select range of local and imported beers, spirits, and liqueurs, complimented by our selection of 14 fine wines by the glass.
This level has two 50” plasma screens, and two T.V. monitors, so you won’t miss any sports action any minute of the day. When the sports over pump up the video jukebox with over 1000 video clips.
There is music to suit every mood and taste, with all the latest hits. This level also has an outdoor smoking deck for your convenience.

After a recent renovation there is plenty of space to enjoy the views of the city below. It features a new open plan, stylish timber bar, and polished timber tabletops with upholstered, padded stools, it is a real comfort.
It is sleek and stylish but at the same time it still evokes that real pub feel, with 9 beers on tap and a select range of local and imported beers, spirits and liqueurs complimented by our selection of fine wines, 14 by the glass.
With the atmosphere of a traditional city pub, sit back and enjoy a drink and a meal from our very popular pub menu. Relax with full sports viewing from Digital Fox Sports channels and free to air sports.
