Greetings Michael, I'm not sure what this is is but it reminds me of Mother Shiptons Cave at Knaresborough, Yorkshire. UK (website) This Wishing Well is quite famous for its petrified objects that have been suspended in the running stream water.

The stream has a high mineral content and flows over a limestone escarpment on which many strange objects are hung, including cuddly toys, gloves, dolls, umbrellas to name but a few. Calcification occurs in a relatively short period of time with rather bizarre results. Thought you might be interested.

Cheers Michael--

Jim
