I like your beach shed shots but I don't understand them? Don't Australians like umbrellas? Seriously, who owns them? Are they permanent fixtures? What happens in really bad weather? Can anyone own them or are they own by the council and let out? Regards, Joce

Thank you j.adamson :) Yes umbrellas are used too, there are approx 1800 beach sheds around Port Phillip Bay ,and a population of 3.9 million people around the Bay, so most of us miss out :(,they are privately owned permanent ,with guide line on size and position and thankfully not color,no new positions,so rebuilt on earlier shed position, they are bought and sold just as normal houses, they are expensive, sometimes linked to a property nearby. Bad weather can and does damage them sometimes; They are there to store all of your beach gear for the family and friends, small boats ,canoes ,surfboards, even seen jet ski's,yachts,I hope this helps a little ,Cheers Craig :)

Great photo Craig, a riot of colour. We have them over here too but the weather keeps owners curled up inside, burrrr:{ Some are the price of a small terrace house! Greetings, Anita
