Coming back from The Narrows? Then singe this pic into your memory (and double click on it for large size). So many people think the two are either due north or due east. I don't know why. And that sends them back towards Quanah Mountain. When you see this, you are east/northeast.
I took this picture at dusk because that is when most often hikers realize how far they are from Camp Doris. Overland to get back to Camp Doris, keep the two mountains to your left. However, if it is this dark, then just follow the road. Yes, it is longer, but just trust me
