Maria Rosaria I am touched by your generous comments. I am so pleased that you like so many of my photo's. It means that we both have the same view of natures gifts. Greetings to you in Rome. Herb

YS. Comparto el punto de vista de Juan J. Andújar. Me gusta la textura esponjosa que adquiere la imagen.

Wow, this one gets a Y* I love it. I am starting to figure out how to get this affect with some of my photos. Any tips? Cathy

Herb Riddle, on November 4, said:

Skyhunter, somfotn and Christian, apologies if I have not thanked you for your visit here before. YS -is very, very much appreciated.

Cathy Thanks to you too for the Y*, again you honour me! Getting this effect, does depend on the software you are using. For this I used Paint Shop Pro12. Starting with an all colour picture. Selecting only the building, then inverting the selection- converting the rest to Infra-red - finally pushing up the roof saturation. I have another of the same technique in my 'Artistic' tab 13th down (Am reluctant to put in links after last night's spamming attempt.) Hope that gets you on your way.

Cheers to you all, Herb
