Hi Sheildc, thanks, I didn't use a tripod, I used my zoom lens (55-200mm) It has a vibration reduction to make it easier to get a clearer picture without 'hand shake'. Ferrybridge power station is about 4 miles away, it seems wherever we are in our village we can see this in the distance!!
