As much as I admire the monumental spareness of your mountain photography, your color photos are equally as beautiful. This could be a field in a mountain valley in northwestern Montana or Idaho. I didn't realize Fireweed (Epilobium sp.) was a common species in Europe as well as the Rocky Mountains.

Thank you Eve, I have to admit that many of the more colorful shots are a little enhanched, but my camera is not that good, so a little improvement is often needed. Fireweed is awelcome friend here, in the whole country. During summer it often lends colour to otherwise quite dull views and pictures. And here(not mine)

Fireweed has been a welcome friend here, too. As you probably know, the western US has had many wildfires the past few years. The burned forests would be dismal places but for the re-colonization by fireweed and the other wildflowers.
