I like your images.

Please be patient as I am uploading some of my waces, crests in some time.

I personally like the wind which blows the water in the air forming a misty environment.

I have in the past, shot such subjects from their side (Right or left) facing the sun (backlit crests) and this mist is really amazing my friend !.

Get a uv over your lens to protect it from salty drops... :-)

Of course, If you have sun at the back You've got what you want - but unfortunately this time of year in Ireland you wouldn't expect lovely weather; as I start this sesion the weather was great - after few shots (15-20 min) start to be stormy and windy as clouds covered sky almost completly with just from time to time sunny spells... Well, what can you do - have to wait for summer :)

And just few words about UV... I've got it :) Anyhow I'm doing these kinda pictures with my lovely 90-300 mm lens .... and I took this one from distance like 50 meters...

Interesting to hear you shoot with 300mm. I have had one minolta 100-300 but it was stolen when I arrived to GR from UK.

I was not using UV etc. just in such cases as I am using NDs most of time, but I begun reading scratches from wiping sea moisture grains on filter, and I trow a lot in the bin.

Now I shoot waves with cheaper medium focal length lens and I wipe it to economise a bit on gadgets.
