There is a famous place where you can see how the condors use hot air streams to ascend. They just fly 10 meters from you, so you can make nice photos.
I have to say that it was relatively easy, in the early morning condors take the hot air streams from the Colca Canyon and they cross exactly through the Cruz del Condor, the place where everyone is waiting for them. It seems that they perform this show for us, moving slowly over our heads. I made 20 shots very fast and 2 of them were pretty decent.
